****CONVENTION VENUE NEWS****

6/24  12:30 P.M.    Just to keep you up to date, Virginia is planning a trip for the ladies to Black Oak Casino for a day so all is not lost.  We are going to check out a Hotel in Stockton this afternoon that should be able to accommodate us,  will keep you posted as the situation changes.  I would not publish the new venue until we tie up the
loose ends.

6/24  11:30 A.M.    Folks:  Due to the vents of the last few days, you know that we are scrambling to find a new hotel to host the convention.  Hopefully something here in the valley and closer to the one loft race.  Its is a new ball game now, but we will over come. You will be kept up to date as we progress.  The web site will be kept up to date as well.  So Loretta will be a key person to get the word out.  We will have more information to post after this Sunday's emergency meeting.
Jim Richesin

6/24  10:30 A.M.    Jackson Rancheria Hotel has been closed.  Building inspector has closed the facility till 2010.  All events have been cancelled for 2009, including ours.  I would like to meet for an EMERGENCY MEETING at our house this Sunday, 10am to regroup.  I realize this is last minute, but we have to act quickly.  Virginia is scouting Stockton and vicinity for a new location.  Please make the meeting if at all possible.
